With a portfolio of novel therapeutics for the treatment of cancer and inflammation, Aurigene Discovery Technologies Ltd. is making waves in the area of innovative medicines and is a subsidiary of Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories. Rapid global expansion has made Aurigene turn out several first-in-class and best-in-class compounds into pharma and biotech companies. Protecting their equipment and illuminating the lab space with recessed fixtures makes their laboratories a unique space to work. They needed consultancy expertise and good hands to work adeptly. Their engagement with Grid Power enhanced their operations to get there on time.
We worked with Manipal Group of Companies on several projects for their power backup solutions. Manipal Technologies Ltd. (formerly Manipal Press Ltd.) is the leading company in the group catering to digital and commercial print space. Our engagement ranged from specifying the right UPS, selecting an appropriate product brand and capacity fitting the load for efficient clean power. We partnered with their multi-specialty teams to manage the complexity of their equipment, be it an international printing machine or their critical servers. We positioned paralleling UPS in cases of redundancy for double power protection. Through a consolidated maintenance contract, we crafted a delightful customer experience for the entire group, and even after a decade, they hardly encountered any breakdowns.

Safety Recognition for Exceptional On-Ground Execution at Aurigene Oncology
At Aurigene Oncology Ltd., Grid executed a wide-ranging scope of electrical, fire safety, and network infrastructure upgrades. The project reflected our ability to integrate multiple systems while ensuring zero disruption to critical operations.
Work involved the fabrication and installation of cable trays, rerouting of existing cabling, and laying new high-tension and low-tension cables. We also modified existing panels and, through our trusted partners, designed, sourced, and installed new ones to support evolving site needs.
A real-time power monitoring system was implemented to improve visibility and control.
The fire and safety infrastructure, previously outdated, was completely overhauled and replaced with a modern, fully compliant setup. Given the complexity of reworking existing infrastructure—especially within an active facility—this project demanded high levels of coordination, technical precision, and a commitment to safety at every step. The dedication and discipline of the on-ground team played a key role in meeting these standards and earned them a site safety award in recognition of their work.
